Compliance

Common Sense staff provide clients with compliance with Massachusetts and Rhode Island environmental regulations. We are proficient at helping clients navigate the applicable environmental regulations as well as the eDEP electronic submittal system. Our seasoned Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs) are intimately familiar with the MCP, also known as 21E, and the required submittals that are dictated by the MCP. Additionally, we provide Tier II and SPCC compliance services. Our goal is to aid clients in becoming self- sufficient regarding Tier II inventory and the annual Tier II submittal process.

Site Investigation / Remediation

Our staff have a working knowledge of the AAI-compliant Phase I assessment process, all aspects of comprehensive subsurface investigations, underground storage tank (UST) removal, subsurface investigations and hazardous waste and materials management. Common Sense has been successful in designing and implementing progressive remedial technologies, as applicable to site conditions, to effectively remediate sites.

Litigation Support

Common Sense staff have extensive litigation experience in supporting various stakeholders including insurance companies, private entities, home owners and attorneys.

Construction Support Services

Common Sense is currently supporting various project in the South coast area on sewer, highway and construction projects. Specifically Common Sense staff provide drain inspectors, a Clerk of Works, environmental labor technicians, Materials Management Plans (MMPs), sampling services and tracking services to local projects.
