Founded by President Cynthia Gilchrest, Common Sense Environmental received recognition from the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce as a nominee and finalist for the Small Business of the Year Award in 2007.

The Common Sense staff has extensive experience with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance with CERCLA, NEPA, and RCRA regulations with a focus on the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), also known as 21E. Common Sense Environmental excels at educating clients of critical regulatory elements relative to environmental activities. Further, Common Sense also provides Licensed Site Professional (LSP) services.
